Aluminum alloy speedboat engine maintenance
For the engine, oil and water temperature are crucial. Oil is the blood of yachts. Water is like the water in the human body. Whether the temperature of the water is suitable directly affects the performance of the engine. The quality of oil also directly affects the degree of lubrication in the engine.
The engine must be regularly tested and replaced with water and oil. If the engine does not change oil regularly, when the engine is opened, it will find that there are many heavy greasy things like tar. Grease is often caused by oil not changing the deterioration of the oxidation, or the quality of oil products do not pass. Among them, the anti-oxidant is added too little, causing greasy adhesion to the engine, forming a "calcium oil", causing serious wear and tear in the engine, and the engine that loses lubrication is easy to "bite" and cause the yacht to anchor. Therefore, it is best to carry out engine maintenance and maintenance according to the manufacturer's stipulated hours.
Engine periodic inspection
Check the level of oil in the engine regularly.
Check coolant status regularly.
Check the fan belt regularly.
Check the seawater filter every 25 hours in the start-up state.
Check the degree of lubrication of the nozzle and steering oil cup.
The first time to replace the engine's gasoline filter is 20 hours after startup, and it is replaced every 200 hours thereafter.
Change the engine oil every 100 hours.
Change gear oil every 200 hours.
Change the air filter every 200 hours.
Fuel filters are replaced once a year.
Keep oil, water, gas and body clean. The use of lubricating oil with excellent cleaning and dispersing properties and the regular use of gasoline cleaning agents to clean engine nozzle air intake valves and combustion chambers are the primary conditions for extending engine life.
